      Payment technologies for Russian tourists in China will be expanded. VTB head Andrey Kostin said on the air of "Rossiya 1" that work is underway to introduce two payment methods — via QR codes and 'Mir' cards. The priority is the QR-code system, which is the main payment instrument in China. According to the bank's head, traditional bank cards are used much less frequently in the country.

      "Right now the flow of tourists from China to Russia and from Russia to China is sharply increasing, and the Chinese have their own card, and this also needs to be worked on, we are moving toward this. I think there is a need here and it will produce results," Kostin added.

      Recall that from September 15 China is introducing a visa-free regime for Russian citizens with ordinary passports for up to 30 days.
