'Mafia' and a breakfast with a hacker: Kazan residents invited to the 'Constructive' forum

      The Volga forum "Konstruktiv" will open tomorrow, September 26, at the Presence Chambers of the Kazan Kremlin. Representatives from 14 regions of the Volga Federal District will take part. Participants in a press conference at "Tatar-inform" spoke today about the upcoming event.

      "'Konstruktiv' is reaching an interregional level in 2025. Several venues will open as part of the forum, where preventive activities of various formats will be held for different audiences," said Ildus Garaev, head of the Office of the Anti-Terrorism Commission in the Republic of Tatarstan.

      The event will start at 10:30; immediately after the opening there will be a panel discussion on "Terrorism is 'getting younger': the current agenda and challenges in the prevention of extremism and the ideology of terrorism."

      "'Konstruktiv' is the largest platform for the prevention of extremism and the ideology of terrorism among youth. In 2025 it is being held for the seventh time, but for the first time as a district forum of the Volga Federal District," said Alena Bakirova, president of the Regional Public Organization "Academy of Creative Youth of the Republic of Tatarstan" and coordinator of the Volga forum "Konstruktiv."

      "This is an educational forum that addresses topics of informational, ideological and psychological security in the prevention of extremism and terrorism among youth. The uniqueness of the platform is that we address different target audiences," Bakirova added.

      This year the project received more than 3.8 thousand applications. More than 40 experts from various regions of Russia will take part in the forum, as well as specialists in media security, psychology, education and legal education. The program includes lectures, master classes, practical workshops and creative formats that combine educational and cultural directions. The forum invites not only young people up to 35 years old, but also representatives of the older generation.

      Events will be held both in person and online. There will be an immersive game "Mafia. ATK," a breakfast with a hacker, psychology lecture series and an improv show on the topic of fraud, as well as a theatrical production on digital literacy.

      "The main result of the forum will be the creation of an interregional database of best practices for the prevention of extremism and the ideology of terrorism, which will unite the experience of all 14 regions of the district and will be presented in a modern digital format," Bakirova added.

      A database of positive and unusual practices from regions of the Volga Federal District that generate resonance and positive effects will be assembled in the republic. The media content produced during the forum will be transferred to educational institutions.

      "Konstruktiv" is organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Office of the Anti-Terrorism Commission in the Republic of Tatarstan together with the Academy of Creative Youth of the Republic of Tatarstan, with the support of the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District, the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh) and the Tatneft Charitable Foundation.
