      Ilnur Yakupov, a participant in the special military operation, has become a deputy of the Council of the Krasnoselsky rural settlement; his mandate will last five years, reports Tatar-Inform.

      Yakupov actively participates in the republican program "Batyrlar. Heroes of Tatarstan," which helps veterans of the special military operation adapt to peaceful life. His mentor in the program is the head of Vysokogorsky District, Ravil Khisamutdinov.

      In two months of work Yakupov completed a practicum that included receiving citizens, taking part in a villagers' meeting and visiting departments of the district administration.
