The "Constructive" forum, aimed at preventing extremism and terrorism among young people, brought together 2,400 participants in Tatarstan.

The event was held in a regional format and united young people from 14 regions of the Volga Federal District (VFD).
Forum program
Over five days participants took part in 45 meetings: lectures, strategic sessions, intensives, business games and theatrical performances. The forum gathered 47 experts.
Leaders’ impressions
Dmitry Solovyov, Head of the Department of Public Projects of the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the VFD, emphasized that the forum became a powerful impulse for youth development. Ildus Garaev, Head of the Antiterrorism Commission of Tatarstan, noted the importance of the speakers’ experience in working with youth. Sofya Galieva-Mustafina, First Deputy Minister for Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, stated that the forum became a unique platform for preventing extremism.
Main events of the forum
25 lecture sessions reached 1,994 participants. In the city venues of Kazan, the "Constructive.Nonformat" block with games, lectures and shows was held. More than 50 materials were produced on the "Constructive.Media" platform. For the first time the "Rosmolodezh.Grants" grant competition was held; 11 projects received support totaling 4.928 million rubles.

The "Constructive" forum is held within the framework of the national project "Youth and Children". Organizers: Ministry for Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, the office of the antiterrorism commission, the Academy of Creative Youth, the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the VFD, Rosmolodezh and the Tatneft Charity Foundation.
Further plans
The results of the forum are planned to be implemented in the regions of the district, and the best practices from Kazan will be applied in educational and public work.
