A taiga-style enclosure will be created for Amur tigers at the Kazan Zoo.

The new complex, developed by a team of architects and artists, includes indoor and outdoor enclosures with panoramic armored glazing that ensures visitor safety during close observation of the animals. A feature of the project is the zoning of the territory with autonomous areas for opposite-sex individuals and a special maternity ward.
The artistic design of the enclosure recreates the atmosphere of the taiga with realistic depictions of coniferous trees and special visual effects, including the illusion of fog. Landscaping work and the arrangement of a pond in the enclosure are currently being completed.
The architects emphasize that the new complex will allow visitors to observe the tigers in conditions as close as possible to their natural habitat while ensuring complete safety. At the moment the predators are in a quarantine zone and are adapting to the new conditions.
