In the city of Shebekino, a shell fired by the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit a residential house. A local resident died on the spot from her wounds.
The incident was reported by the governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, on his Telegram channel. He noted that after the munition hit, the roof of the house collapsed and caught fire. Firefighters extinguished the blaze. In addition, the house's windows were damaged and an outbuilding was affected.
"The worst has happened — a civilian resident was killed as a result of a munition hitting a private house. The woman died on the spot from her wounds," the governor wrote.
Also in Shebekino, the detonation of a drone damaged the glazing of a commercial facility and five apartments in an apartment building. Three vehicles — a truck and two passenger cars — were damaged. Gladkov added that information about the consequences of the strike is being clarified.
