Police officers visited the children at the Chistopol orphanage.

      Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tatarstan visited their sponsored Chistopol orphanage. They gave the children creative and sports kits, sweets, tree seedlings, and to two birthday children — a smart speaker and outerwear.

      The police spoke with the pupils and teachers, learned about life at the institution and inspected the living conditions. In return, the children gave a tour of the orphanage.

      The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tatarstan has been sponsoring the institution since 2010. Throughout the year the ministry’s divisions regularly visit the wards, trying to provide them with everything they need.

      Currently 27 children live in the orphanage. They are distributed into "apartments" where biological brothers and sisters live together. Educators note that such visits are important for the children and help create an atmosphere of support.
