      The branch of the Social Fund of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan has allocated more than 544 million rubles since the beginning of the year for the payment of one‑time childbirth allowances.

      This support measure has been received by more than 20,298 families in the republic. The fixed amount of the allowance is indexed annually and in 2025 amounts to 26,941.71 rubles. For parents working in territories where district coefficients apply, the payment is made taking these coefficients into account. As Eduard Vafin, head of the SFR branch for the Republic of Tatarstan, explained, for working parents the allowance is assigned automatically on the basis of information from the Unified State Register of Civil Status Acts (EGR ZAGS) and from the employer. The payment is made within 10 working days from the date of registration of the child's birth. Unemployed parents must submit an application through the Gosuslugi portal, Social Fund branches or MFCs no later than 6 months from the date of the child's birth. A decision on the application is made within 10 working days, and the payment is made in the following 5 working days.
