Justice: From A to Z. Meeting of Judge I.V. Kasatkina with 8th-grade students of the Municipal Budgetary Educational Institution "Gymnasium No. 1"

      Judge I.V. Kasatkina of the Chistopol City Court of the Republic of Tatarstan, as part of the implementation of the agreement between the Judicial Department in the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan on cooperation between schools and district (city) courts of the Republic of Tatarstan “Justice: from A to Z”, held a thematic lesson with 8th-grade students of the Municipal Budgetary General Education Institution “Gymnasium No. 1” of the Chistopol municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan on the topic “The Judicial System of Russia.”

      During the lesson the students were explained the concepts of court, parties to proceedings, mediation and settlement; it was also explained that when various conflicts arise at school or in life they can be resolved by peaceful dispute resolution, and that this is one of the important stages of the civil process when the plaintiff and the defendant, through negotiations, settle the matter peacefully.
