A new book and an exhibition of young artists were presented at the Zainsk library.
A presentation of the new book by writer Nina Samarina, "Guilt Not Proven," took place at the S. Rafikov Central Library.
Under the literary pseudonym Nina Samarina writes Natalia Garipova — a well-known journalist, member of the Union of Russian Writers, and recipient of the "Crystal Quill" award. Meeting participants were able to get acquainted with the biography and multifaceted work of the author, who is the creator of more than twenty novellas. The new collection "Guilt Not Proven" is already the fourth in the author's bibliography. It includes two novellas, each of which makes the reader reflect on life's complex vicissitudes. In the title novella the author seeks answers to difficult family questions: why brothers raised the same way choose such different paths, and why parents' love sometimes goes to someone who does not deserve it? The second novella, "When the Summer Ended," is a psychological puzzle about meeting a first love after twenty years and whether such a meeting is capable of destroying an established family life.
Nina Samarina is not only a talented writer but also an excellent storyteller. She shared with guests the secrets of her craft: spoke about the difficulties she faced while working on the book, about those who supported her, and about where she draws inspiration for her works. With stories about the creation of her characters, the author captured the audience's attention throughout the meeting, which was listened to with genuine interest and warmth.
The event proved to be multifaceted. The second guest of the evening was Albina Shaikhulova, director of Children's Art School No. 1 of Naberezhnye Chelny. She presented an exhibition of works by talented senior students, adding bright colors and fresh creative ideas to the library's atmosphere.
The performances by teachers and students of the children's music school, who enlivened the evening with live music, gave the meeting a special color. Time flew by unnoticed, leaving behind a rich trove of impressions and a boost of positive emotions. The evening concluded with a traditional autograph session by Nina Samarina and a group photograph as a keepsake.
