About 20 young men were sent in this draft to the assembly point in Kazan.
Among them was Ruslan Masgutov, great-grandson of Full Cavalier of the Order of Glory Minnekhan Masgutov.
"I'm leaving in good spirits, I have obtained a higher education, now it's time to repay my debt to the Motherland. Besides, I have someone to look up to; I'm proud of my great-grandfather and his feats. I will try to justify this proud title of the hero's grandson," Ruslan said.
His comrade Yegor Konstantinov is also going to the army with great eagerness.
"I graduated from the Almetyevsk Medical College; I hope I will serve in my specialty. My parents, my beloved wife and son will be waiting for me at home with impatience; I think the year will fly by unnoticed," he said.
Vladislav Artamonov was also seen off by a large and close-knit family.
"We see him off hoping that only good news will come from him. I wish that all the guys who are leaving for the army today will serve worthily, so that in a year we will meet them just as warmly," said Vladislav's mother, Antonina Artamonova.
Their good wishes to the recruits were voiced by district head Damir Ishkineev, the military commissar of the city and district Zagir Abdullin, heads of rural settlements, and others.
"Every man must go through this school of life. The army plays an important role in life. It shapes character and will; you must not fear difficulties. We are waiting for you to return as mature men in a year. I am sure that the years of service in the army will become some of the best episodes in your life," said Damir Azatovich.
"Serve with honor, fulfill your military duty and return to your hometown in a year, where your family and loved ones await you. Have a safe journey, guys!" wished Zagir Karimovich.
