The Local History Dictation — 2025 was held at KIU.

      On October 23, 2025, a regional educational campaign "Local History Dictation 2025", timed to the Constitution Day of the Republic of Tatarstan, was held at the Kazan Innovative University named after V.G. Timiryasov. The event took place with the support of the youth department of the Russian Geographical Society of the Republic of Tatarstan and its head, Rustam Sharipovich Farkhullin. Schoolchildren and teachers from Kazan schools, students and staff of the Kazan Innovative University named after V.G. Timiryasov took part in the dictation. Participants had to take part in three themed rounds of 15 questions each, devoted to the history, culture and geography of the Republic of Tatarstan. The interactive format, a rich cultural program and a festive atmosphere made the event memorable. The cultural part of the program included: a performance by the Mixstyle dance theater with the piece "Devichya Orda", the song "I Won't Tell Who I'm Walking With" performed by the VIVA vocal studio, and a fairy-tale fashion show "Sikherle ielär" by the Kalypso fashion theater, inspired by motifs from Tatar fairy tales. The winners of the dictation were: Saifutdinov Iskander, Boarding Lyceum No. 7 of Novo-Savinovsky District Khamed Amir, Boarding Lyceum No. 7 of Novo-Savinovsky District Panteleeva Regina, Secondary general education Russian-Tatar School No. 13 of Vakhitovsky District The winners received commemorative prizes, and all participants were awarded certificates. The Local History Dictation became an important platform for popularizing the historical and cultural heritage of Tatarstan and increasing young people's interest in their native region.
