Police launched an investigation following an altercation between a pedestrian and a BMW driver in central Kazan.

      Today a video of a road conflict in the Vakhitovsky district of Kazan appeared on social media. According to eyewitnesses, the BMW driver did not yield to a pedestrian, after which he got out of the car and began arguing with him. The verbal exchange quickly escalated into a scuffle — the motorist knocked the man to the ground and struck him, after which he got into the car and drove away. The clip came to the attention of law enforcement officers, who have launched an investigation. "A check has been initiated at the Yapeeva police department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Kazan. Law enforcement officers are clarifying all the circumstances of the incident. A procedural decision will be made based on the results," the agency's press service told Tatar-inform.
