      As part of the implementation of the national project "Family" and the federal project "Older Generation" included in it, a "Theatrical Workshop" studio has been successfully operating for more than four years at the Istok-Bashlangych Comprehensive Social Services Center in the Leninogorsky District. This activity is carried out in accordance with the republican program "Active Longevity."

      Under the direction of director Lyubov Sidorova, elderly citizens with an active life stance participate in staging theatrical productions based on works such as "Evenings on a Farm Near Dikanka" by N.V. Gogol, "Tartuffe, or The Impostor" by Jean-Baptiste Molière, and "The Dawns Here Are Quiet" by B.L. Vasiliev.

      In October 2025, after the holidays, the silver volunteers met again to discuss the repertoire and plans for the new theater season. It was decided to add a production based on the fables of I.A. Krylov to the works already implemented. The studio participants enthusiastically set to work.

      During rehearsals, actors work on speech expressiveness, role reading and memorization of texts, set installation, and musical accompaniment. Participation in the work of the theater studio develops the creative activity of the participants and helps reveal the potential for social activity among elderly citizens.
