Three employees of "Dengimigom" who stole 79 million from the company will be sent to a penal colony.
The city court of Naberezhnye Chelny sentenced three employees of the microfinance organization "Dengimigom" to 3.5–5 years in a general-regime penal colony after they managed to steal 79 million rubles from their employer. According to the Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Tatarstan, Sergey Golov, Dugar Lopsonov and Ilnaz Mukminov were found guilty of theft committed by an organized group and on a particularly large scale (subparas. "a" and "b", part 4, article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
According to court records, between November 2018 and December 2020 the convicts "borrowed" money from the microcredit company by forging applications. To do this they copied applications of real clients, changing the original numbers on them and entering the details of their own accounts. The company’s payment system transferred the money to the specified accounts.
By court decision Golov will be sent to a penal colony for 5 years, Lopsonov for 3.5 years, Mukminov for 4 years.
