In Tatarstan, 200 km of roads were repaired under the national project "Infrastructure for Life".

      Large-scale projects to develop road infrastructure under the national project "Infrastructure for Life" are being carried out in Tatarstan in 2025. As of today, 100% of the targets under the national project for the installation and restoration of road surfaces at all planned sites have been achieved.

      The total length of the sites is over 200 km, the cost of the works is 14.2 billion rubles, of which 7.1 billion was allocated from the federal budget.

      The main directions of the project were urban agglomerations, the regional and local road network.

      In the Kazan agglomeration this year highways with a total length of 21.8 km were repaired, of which 7 km are part of the street and road network of Kazan. Particularly significant capital repair projects in Kazan are:

      - Oktyabrskaya St. from Gagarina St. to Vosstaniya St. in the Novo-Savinovsky district;

      - Dekabristov St. from Vorovskogo St. to Vosstaniya St. in the Moskovsky district;

      - Rakhimova St. from Vasilchenko St. to Yutazinskaya St. in the Moskovsky district.

      In the Naberezhnye Chelny agglomeration 11.3 km of highways were repaired. A significant project for the city was Yashlek Prospect from Mira Prospect to Chulman Prospect.

      In the Nizhnekamsk agglomeration major repairs were carried out on 2.99 km of roads:

      - Studencheskaya St. from Korabelnaya St. to R. Gainullin St.;

      - Lesnaya St. from Muradyan St. to Gagarina St.

      The length of the repaired regional roads amounted to 164.7 km. For example, sections of the Kazan – Yoshkar-Ola – Bolshoy Kulbash – Dubyazy highway in the Zelenodolsk municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan, Arbor – Shishiner in the Baltasinsky municipal district, Alekseevskoye – Vysokiy Kolok in the Alkeevsky municipal district, Potapovo – Tumbarla – Tatarsky Kandyz in the Bavlinsky municipal district, and others.

      "The issue of road repairs under the national project 'Infrastructure for Life' in the republic is kept under special control. The measures being implemented ensure an improvement in the population's quality of life and the development of the region's economy," said Karim Nurmukhametov, head of the Road Management Department of the Ministry of Transport and Road Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.

      The implementation of the measures of the national project "Infrastructure for Life" will allow the following target indicators to be achieved:

      - the share of regional roads meeting regulatory requirements is 52.23%;

      - the share of the road network of the largest urban agglomerations that is in regulatory condition is 85.27%;

      - the share of regional roads that are part of the backbone network and meet regulatory requirements is 85.18%.
