In the Tukaevsky district, at the 1,071st kilometer of the M-7 "Volga" highway on the stretch leading toward Ufa, a fatal accident occurred overnight that claimed the lives of two people.
According to preliminary information, the driver of a Toyota, born in 1992, with license plates from Sverdlovsk Oblast, failed to choose a safe speed and, at full speed, collided with a freight truck that was standing on the shoulder. As a result of the collision, the driver of the passenger car and his passenger, born in 2002, were injured and died at the scene. It is known that both deceased were citizens of Tajikistan who lived in Moscow. It is noted that shortly before the accident a GLONASS-system warning about icy road conditions on this section of the highway had been received. Prosecutor of the Tukaevsky district Ruslan Galiev went to the scene to coordinate actions. The office has launched an investigation to determine all the causes and circumstances of the incident.
