New tractors will arrive in the rural settlements of eight districts of Tatarstan by the end of the year.

      The State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Procurement announced the holding of electronic auctions for the purchase of agricultural machinery for the winners of the 2025 republican grant competition for rural settlements, which is organized annually by the association "Council of Municipal Formations of the Republic of Tatarstan," the agency’s press service reported.

      Within four procurements totaling more than 43.8 million rubles, it is planned to purchase 16 "Belarus-82.1" tractors and one "Belarus-422.1" tractor manufactured in 2025.

      The new equipment will be distributed among 17 rural settlements in eight municipal districts of Tatarstan: Agryzsky, Aznakaevsky, Alkeevsky, Almetyevsky, Mendeleyevsky, Nizhnekamsky, Sarmanovsky and Tukaevsky.

      The Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Procurement, Marat Ziatdinov, noted that renewing the fleet of agricultural machinery in rural settlements is not merely a purchase of tractors. According to him, it is an investment in rural development and in improving residents' quality of life.

      He explained that the new machinery will make it possible to service settlement territories more efficiently, carry out improvement works and keep road infrastructure in proper condition throughout the year.

      Delivery of the equipment is scheduled by December 19 of this year. According to the Council of Municipal Formations of the Republic of Tatarstan, 305 applications were received for the 2025 grant competition, of which 170 rural settlements and three urban-type settlements became winners. The total amount of grant support was 347.5 million rubles.
