Tatarstan will be the first in Russia to test a registry of personnel in the field of drones.

      Tatarstan will be the first region in Russia to pilot a digital personnel registry in the field of unmanned aerial systems (UAS). Maria Obraztsova, deputy director of Innopolis University, told Tatar-inform this at a training seminar for industry workers at the Academy of Sciences of Tatarstan.

      "The digital personnel registry in the field of unmanned aerial systems is the first subsystem of the larger digital system 'Digital Sky', which will be launched later. The personnel registry will help calculate staffing needs not only for Russia as a whole, but for each region," the agency's interlocutor explained.

      The digital personnel registry in the field of UAS has been created at the federal level, with the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia acting as the customer.

      "Innopolis University was the developer of this registry; on October 27 the system was launched. All subjects of the Russian Federation will be represented there, but Tatarstan will be among the first," Obraztsova added.

      The Academy of Sciences of Tatarstan organized a training seminar on its premises so that Tatarstan could start working with the registry before everyone else, the specialist added.

      According to her, the personnel registry in the field of UAS is needed to unite all industry participants, staff the sector, and collect information on educational programs. This work will also help to see in which direction and at what speed the industry is developing.
