      As of January 1, 2026, the tax registration certificate is abolished. For individuals, registration will be confirmed by an extract from the Unified State Register of Taxpayers (EGRN). Previously issued certificates will not need to be changed; they remain valid.

      The electronic extract from the EGRN contains data on the surname, first name, patronymic, date of birth of the identified person and the TIN. It is signed with an enhanced qualified electronic signature and is equivalent to a paper extract signed in ink by an official and stamped with the seal of the tax authority.

      Notifications of registration or deregistration sent to organizations, individual entrepreneurs and individuals are also abolished.

      Alongside the extract from the EGRN, registration or deregistration in the tax authority will be confirmed by an extract from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities (EGRUL), an extract from the state register of accredited branches and representative offices of foreign legal entities, and an extract from the Unified State Register of Individual Entrepreneurs (EGRIP).

      For registration or deregistration procedures in the tax authority that were initiated before January 1, 2026 and not completed as of that date, extracts will be issued instead of certificates and notifications.
