The ice rink at Kazan's Tasma stadium will be moved due to the construction of an archery center.

      In Kazan this year the rink at the Tasma stadium will be located on the tennis court because an archery center is being built on the former site, the press service of the administration of the Kirovsky and Moskovsky districts reported on social media.

      “This year the rink at the Tasma stadium will be located on the tennis court, as a center for archery is being built on the previous site,” they replied in the comments to the post.

      Recall that in September a cornerstone-laying ceremony for a new archery facility took place at the Tasma Olympic Reserve School. The new archery center will be intended for training professional athletes and amateurs. In a building of almost 6,000 sq. m, 160 archers will be able to train simultaneously. Archery training has been conducted at Tasma since 2009. Today 93 archers train at the school.

      In total, 22 rinks with rental points will be prepared in the city by winter, of which 14 are outdoor sites and 8 are located in ice arenas. They will also set up 83 hockey rinks, which can also be used for skating. A landmark event will be the return, after a two-year pause, of the rink on the Kremlin Embankment, which had not been operating due to technical reasons and an abnormally warm winter.
