Control over school meals in the Mendeleevsky District has been tightened.

      At the business Monday meeting, the head of the Mendeleevsky District, Robert Iskandarov, identified the situation with school meal provision as one of the priority areas of work. According to him, a series of inspections in educational institutions began last week, and this work will continue. Special attention was paid to the school in the village of Izhevka. Until the middle of the second term, children there received dry rations or brought food from home. Robert Iskandarov emphasized that such a situation is unacceptable. Meetings were held with school staff and management, and then with parents to resolve the problem. They were presented with the solution that had been found. This week a cook and his assistant will begin working at the school. The district head ordered the issue to be kept under constant control and for communication with parents and teachers to be maintained. "Children must be fed well and adequately in every school," Robert Iskandarov said.
