      The day before, the federal stage of the all-Russian competition "Best Teacher of a Children's School of Arts" was held in Moscow. The Volga Federal District was represented there by piano teacher Vadim Pak from Children's Music School No. 18 named after M. Muzafarov. He won the special nomination "Best Young Teacher of a Children's School of Arts."

      According to the Department of Culture, the competition was held in three stages. The teacher from CMS No. 18 proved to be the best among 11 participants of the regional stage and representatives from 12 regions of the country's district stage, which earned him a place in the final.

      The final trials were held in Moscow from November 29 to 30. Representatives of 8 federal districts of Russia competed in them.

      Vadim Pak became the winner in the nomination "Best Young Teacher of a Children's School of Arts" up to 35 years old. The well-deserved award was presented to the Kazan teacher by Russia's Minister of Culture Olga Lyubimova.

      Earlier it was reported that since the beginning of the school year the teaching staff in schools, kindergartens and supplementary education institutions of Kazan has been augmented by 460 young specialists. Graduates of 55 Russian universities and three foreign universities have joined the ranks of Kazan teachers.
