      In Tatarstan, plans are underway to introduce restrictions on the sale of non-alcoholic tonic drinks, including energy drinks. Today deputies supported the corresponding bill at the 17th session of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan by a majority vote.

      The law provides for a ban on the sale of such drinks in schools, hospitals, and also in cultural, sports and physical education institutions. In addition, their sale will be restricted in places of mass gatherings of people during public events.

      Abdulyazanov explained the introduction of these bans and restrictions by the harmful effects of non-alcoholic tonic drinks on health.
