A Tatarstan entrepreneur, a veteran of the special military operation, was able to significantly expand his business thanks to a concessional loan.
A businessman from Tatarstan who took part in the special military operation achieved impressive results in developing his enterprise with the help of a state support program. Thanks to concessional microfinancing under the "Support for SVO" product, his monthly income grew by 80% — from 150 to 270 thousand rubles in just three months. This assistance, aimed at the social and professional adaptation of veterans, is provided by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan as part of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy." After receiving loan funds in July 2025, the entrepreneur was able to purchase a vehicle and launch a business in passenger transportation. His plans are now more ambitious: he intends to expand his fleet and open his own taxi company by 2030.
As noted by the First Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan — Director of the Department for Entrepreneurship Development, Natalya Kondratova, a set of measures is being implemented in the republic to help veterans and their family members start and develop their own businesses. In addition to financial support, they have access to free educational programs and business advisory services.
Since the beginning of 2025, the total amount of funds issued in Tatarstan to entrepreneurs who participated in the SVO, as well as to companies employing them, has exceeded 400 million rubles. Microfinancial support is provided on preferential terms through the digital platform MSP.RF. Under the special "Support for SVO" product, one can obtain a loan of up to 5 million rubles at a record-low rate for Russia — just 1% per annum. Eligible applicants include the veterans themselves and their family members, as well as companies that have signed employment contracts with participants of the SVO.
