      3. THE COMPETITION IS ANNOUNCED FOR THE POSITION OF JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW OF THE DEPARTMENT OF FOLK ART OF THE INSTITUTE OF LANGUAGE, LITERATURE AND ART OF THE ACADEMY OF SCIENCES OF THE REPUBLIC OF TATARSTAN AT 0.5 FTE

      Qualifications required:

      Researcher: higher professional education and experience in scientific research.

      During work in the scientific field:

      - 2 articles written and published in publications included in the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI) database; or in collections of scientific works, materials of conferences, seminars, "round tables"; in textological collections, dictionaries, etc.;

      - participation in organized and conducted scientific expeditions, protective-rescue, reconnaissance works;

      - participation in grants, republican competitions, contract research or projects of state republican programs;

      - citation in abstracting databases in the RSCI;

      - absence of official remarks from the supervisor responsible for carrying out research work.

      Professional field: folk art, Tatar folkloristics.

      4. Tasks and evaluation criteria:

      Tasks:

      - carrying out scientific research and development as an executor on individual sections (stages) of a project;

      - conducting research, experiments, observations, measurements, compiling their descriptions and formulating conclusions;

      - studying scientific information, domestic and foreign experience on the researched topic;

      - professional development;

      - participation and presentations at scientific seminars;

      - writing scientific articles.

      Evaluation criteria: experience in scientific research, applied scientific research on independent topics. Presence of publications in editions indexed in the databases of the Higher Attestation Commission (VAK) and the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI). Knowledge of the Tatar language at the level of the language of science. Computer skills: confident user of office software.

      5. Terms of the employment contract.

      A fixed-term employment contract is concluded with the winner of the competition. Salary for a full-time position: 27,800 rubles/month.

      Provision of official housing, compensation for rental housing expenses, and travel compensation are not provided.

      6. To participate in the competition, the applicant must submit:

      - an application addressed to the President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan;

      - an application containing:

       a) the applicant’s surname, first name and patronymic;

       b) the applicant’s date of birth;

       c) information on higher education and qualifications, academic degree (if any) and academic title (if any);

       d) information on length and experience of work;

       e) information on the branch(es) (fields) of science in which the applicant intends to work;

       f) lists of previously obtained results of scientific activity.

      The applicant has the right to provide other materials that most fully characterize his/her qualifications, experience and effectiveness.
