      A 37-year-old resident of Kazan ran into scammers while trying to buy caviar. He saw an attractive offer in one of the messengers. After communicating with the seller, he was added to a closed chat where, to arrange delivery, it was necessary to pay the entire amount in advance. The man transferred more than six thousand rubles, but after that contact with the scammers was cut off. Realizing he had become a victim of fraud, the victim filed a report with the police. The Russian Interior Ministry’s Kazan division advises residents to be vigilant: do not share passwords and card details with strangers, and only buy from sellers with a verified reputation.
