Preliminary findings show that an unknown person, claiming to be an employee of the management company, called her and reported a change to the intercom code. The pensioner recited the digits from the SMS she had received, after which the call ended. Shortly thereafter, fake law enforcement officers and representatives of Rosfinmonitoring began calling her, claiming that her savings were in danger. They convinced the woman that, to protect them, she needed to transfer the money to a "safe account." As a result, the pensioner transferred more than 80,000 rubles to the fraudsters. A criminal case has been opened. The Kazan police warn: - verify any information you receive from strangers; - before taking any actions recommended by people you do not know, consult with your relatives.
