      How the Zainsk Correctional School Creates a Space of Trust and Growth for Special Children

      For some, school is schedules and lessons. For Gulnara Vagizovna Moikina, director of the Zainsk correctional school, it is a world of special care, boundless patience, and quiet but meaningful victories. Her teaching path, which began in 2001 within the walls of her native ninth school, culminated in 2017 with her appointment as head. Today she leads not just an institution, but a large and compassionate family where every child with disabilities finds support, development, and belief in themselves.

      “Our school is a space of possibilities. Here we do more than teach; we help each child find their footing in life, to believe that they are needed and important. And when children feel their own worth, they themselves reach out to do good for others.”

      Her professional skill and dedication have been recognized with high honors. Among them are an honorary certificate and the “Honored Mentor” badge from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan. But the greatest awards for Gulnara Vagizovna are the trust in the children’s eyes and the gratitude of their parents.

      “For us, parents, what the school under the leadership of Gulnara Vagizovna does is priceless. We see how our children, many of whom find learning difficult, do not give up and strive for knowledge. Here they are taught not only to read and write, but to be humane. And that is the most important thing.”

      It was under Gulnara Vagizovna’s leadership that a unique patriotic initiative was born at the school, one that united everyone: teachers, children, and their families. Students with special needs, who themselves often require support, become real helpers. Girls sew pajamas and make protective charms for wounded fighters; boys make crutches and overbed tables.

      All together—teachers and pupils—weave camouflage nets. This is more than help for the front. It is powerful therapy through kindness, a lesson in solidarity, and the schooling of the heart.

      “Gulnara Vagizovna is the pillar of our team. She knows how to inspire and guide. In this assistance to our military we see not simply a task but part of the educational process she has built. Children blossom as they understand that their work is vitally needed by someone.”

      Gulnara Vagizovna Moikina is an example of a woman whose strength lies in gentleness, whose wisdom is in seeing potential where others see limitations. Her heart can bring together the most diverse people around great and kind deeds. She is not simply a director. She is a mentor, a creator, and a true example for our whole society.
