      The Republic of Tatarstan ranked third among Russian regions in terms of the affordability of hotel accommodation, with an average price of 4.1 thousand rubles per night.

      Tatarstan took third place in the national ranking of Russian regions by the affordability of hotel stays. According to a study conducted by analysts from the Avito Travel service, the average cost of a hotel room in the republic was 4.1 thousand rubles per night. Lower prices were recorded only in Leningrad Region (3.2 thousand rubles) and Kaliningrad Region (3.9 thousand rubles). For comparison, in Krasnodar Krai the average price per night in a hotel reached 7.2 thousand rubles.

      A parallel analysis of the short-term apartment rental market showed that the lowest rates for this type of accommodation were observed in Kurgan Region — 2.1 thousand rubles per day. At the same time, in 17 subjects of the Russian Federation, including neighboring Republic of Bashkortostan, the cost of daily rental housing over the past year demonstrated a decline.

      As previously noted by the head of the city committee for tourism development Alexander Shavliashvili, guests of Kazan spent a total of more than 1.5 billion rubles on accommodation, food and entertainment during the New Year holidays. It is known that from December 31, 2025 to January 11, 2026 Kazan was visited by more than 200 thousand tourists, which is 16.7% higher than the figures for the same New Year holidays a year earlier.

      Earlier it was reported that Tatarstan took fifth place in the national ranking of Russian regions that domestic tourists plan to travel to for celebrating New Year 2026.
