According to data from the Rosreestr of the republic, the average cost per square meter in new buildings in Kazan is 240 thousand rubles. This is 3 times more than 5 years ago.
In Tatarstan, the number of transactions with new buildings as of the end of June fell almost 2 times compared to the same period last year. According to the Rosreestr office for the Republic of Tatarstan, 1.4 thousand shared participation agreements were registered, while in June 2024 there were more than 2.7 thousand. Paradoxically, despite the sharp decline in demand for both new buildings and secondary real estate, prices continue to rise. A similar situation is observed in the regions of the republic. Analysts state that there are key reasons for the current situation. These include, first of all, high mortgage rates, a decrease in solvent demand, and the absence of new government support programs. It was previously reported that as part of the implementation of the national project "Infrastructure for Life" in the republic, 11 apartment buildings have been put into operation to date, with a total area of 98.7 thousand sq. m. Thanks to this work, since the beginning of 2025, more than 2 thousand families have been able to improve their housing conditions.
