A tragic traffic accident occurred in the city of Soltsy in the Novgorod region: two girls died while riding on a tubing that was being towed by a car. This was reported by the regional traffic police. The incident happened on Friday evening on Novgorodskaya Street. According to the traffic police, a 20-year-old driver of a VAZ-2114 was towing a tubing with two girls on it. During the movement, the tubing veered into the oncoming lane and collided with a VAZ-2112. "As a result of the incident, the girls on the tubing died at the scene," the agency reported. After the accident, traffic police officers and an investigative operational group arrived at the scene. They recorded the details of the accident and began an investigation. The traffic police stated that all circumstances of the accident would be clarified after the procedural actions were completed. Additionally, earlier in the Vladimir region, a major traffic accident involving a passenger bus occurred. The accident happened in Murom at the intersection of Soviet and Artem streets. Preliminary data indicates that the driver of a Mazda did not yield to the bus that was traveling on the main road. After the collision, the bus veered off the road and crashed into a tree. As a result, seven people were injured, one of the victims was hospitalized, and the others received outpatient assistance.
