In Kazan, based on a court decision, the activity of the café Bosphor, located in the central part of the city at 43 Moskovskaya Street, has been temporarily suspended. The reason for the unscheduled inspection was two emergency notifications about cases of intestinal infection among visitors, reported the Rospotrebnadzor Office for the Republic of Tatarstan. During the sanitary-epidemiological investigation, specialists identified numerous and serious violations of sanitary legislation. The establishment lacked the necessary conditions for food preparation, and the amount of technological equipment and production facilities was insufficient to meet standards. Employees without confirmation of hygiene training, medical examinations, and vaccinations were allowed to work. Furthermore, the inspection found the absence of bactericidal equipment for air disinfection and established production laboratory control. The café violated the dishwashing and inventory cleaning regime, lacked detergents and disinfectants, and the sanitary condition of the premises was deemed unsatisfactory. Unlabeled products without accompanying documents were used in preparation. Laboratory studies confirmed the presence of E. coli bacteria in the prepared dishes and rinses from external environment objects. As a result of the supervisory measures, the café premises were sealed, and the case materials were transferred to court. The establishment's activity has been suspended for 60 days. Previously, guests at the Kazan café "Brown Bear," located on Pushkin Street, were diagnosed with E. coli. This prompted an unscheduled inspection by the Rospotrebnadzor Office for the Republic of Tatarstan.
