"True Patriots of Tatarstan": Alexey Pesoshin awarded state honors
The Prime Minister of Tatarstan, Alexey Pesoshin, presented state awards of Russia and Tatarstan today to 58 outstanding residents of the republic. The award ceremony took place in the Kazan Kremlin. "Thanks to the professionalism and determination of our citizens, Tatarstan confidently overcomes external challenges and continues to move forward on the path of socio-economic development," said Pesoshin, addressing the participants of the solemn event. He noted that thanks to national projects, 468 facilities were built, repaired, and modernized in the republic last year, including schools, kindergartens, cultural and healthcare institutions, parks, squares, and road infrastructure facilities. The digitalization of social sectors of the economy is underway, along with work on vocational education and patriotic education for youth. Families with children receive state social support. Significant infrastructure projects aimed at improving the quality of life of people are being implemented in the region. "Today marks the Day of Culture Workers. On behalf of the government of Tatarstan, I congratulate all workers in the culture and arts sector of the republic on their professional holiday. You make an invaluable contribution to the preservation and strengthening of the richest cultural heritage and the centuries-old national traditions of the peoples living in the territory of the republic," said Alexey Pesoshin. He noted that the republic is renowned for its multinational and multi-confessional society, where representatives of various peoples live in peace and harmony, carefully preserving and developing each other's culture. "This year, Kazan bears the title of the cultural capital of the Islamic world. The official ceremony to kick off the events will take place within the framework of the International Economic Forum 'Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum'," Pesoshin reminded. The year 2026 is also marked by the anniversaries of outstanding figures of domestic culture – the 140th anniversary of the poet Gabdulla Tukay and the 120th anniversary of the hero-poet Musa Jalil. The Prime Minister of Tatarstan expressed confidence that the upcoming events will become bright pages in the chronicle of the Year of Unity of Peoples, declared by the President of the country, Vladimir Putin. "Unity and valor are not just words, but a solid foundation for our victories on the front lines and tireless successes in the rear. In a sign of the deepest respect for the defenders of the Fatherland and the workers in the rear, the year 2026 has been declared the Year of Military and Labor Valor in Tatarstan. Since the beginning of the special military operation, the people of Tatarstan have demonstrated resilience and heroism. Our common task is comprehensive support for military personnel, their families, and the adaptation of returning veterans to peaceful life," noted the Prime Minister of Tatarstan. He remarked that the laureates of state awards make a significant contribution to the well-being and prosperity of the republic. "Today, true patriots of Tatarstan have gathered in this hall. I sincerely wish you good health, family well-being, and congratulate you on your well-deserved awards!" said Pesoshin. He presented awards to outstanding Tatarstan residents, including workers from industrial, construction, and transport enterprises, representatives of scientific and medical circles, cultural figures, media, education, and sports sectors, and civil servants. The Medal of the Order of "Parental Glory" was awarded to the parents of five children, Ildar and Leila Sitdikov. "I work as a nurse at the Leninogorsk clinic, my husband is a driver. We have been married for 25 years. We met when I worked on a collective farm, and he came to feed our employees. We communicated for five years, and here we are – our family has matured," Leila Sitdikova told Tatar-inform. The woman admitted that she always dreamed of being a mother of many children. "In our family, on my mother's side, there are five children, and on my father's side – eight. And I also wanted to have children. I love to cook... My happiness and soul are my children," Sitdikova added. She explained that being a mother of many children is not difficult. The older children have already grown up and help with the younger ones. The mother of many children revealed the secret to a strong marriage. "You need to love, respect, and appreciate each other. In the morning, cook, see each other off to work, and meet. Be each other's support and support. We love each other, we appreciate our family," emphasized Sitdikova. The Medal of the Republic of Tatarstan "For Diligent Labor" was awarded to Alexander Braidburd, President of the International Association of Horizontal Directional Drilling Specialists, Oleg Dureev, Chief Energy Specialist of Kazan International Airport, Olga Zavyalova, a reader – master of artistic word of the concert department of the Kazan City Philharmonic, and others. The medal "Ana dany – Maternal Glory" was awarded to the mother of five children, Dilyuza Misbakhova. She attended the award ceremony with her husband. The medal "100 years of the formation of the TASSR" was awarded to Elena Galieva, Head of the State Housing Fund under the Head of Tatarstan, and People's Artist of Tatarstan Gabdulfat Safin.
