      A five-year-old child has died in Naberezhnye Chelny. As reported by Chelny-biz.ru from the city health department, when medical assistance arrived, the child was in extremely serious, critical condition, and the sharp deterioration occurred long before the ambulance was called. The child was assisted in conjunction with specialists from the KDMЦ, and all necessary resuscitation measures were taken, but they were unable to save him. The health department expressed sincere condolences to the family and loved ones. The child's relatives, in turn, report that he fell ill on March 17, with symptoms of ARVI. The next day, the child’s temperature rose to 38.5, and an ambulance was called. The temperature dropped to 37 degrees, and they were allegedly advised to refuse hospitalization in an infectious disease hospital. The relatives agreed, fearing to "catch" other illnesses, and signed a refusal of hospitalization, knowing all the consequences. The health department noted that the ambulance always offers hospitalization for young children. Later, the child's relatives contacted a pediatrician at the clinic, who recommended treating him at home. On March 19, the child had no fever, only a slight cough and runny nose, but by evening he became weak. He had difficulty breathing and turned pale. The relatives called an ambulance, and the child was given an injection, after which he allegedly began to suffocate and lose consciousness. The relatives did not manage to reach the KDMЦ in time; in the shock department, attempts were made to resuscitate him. The circumstances of the death are currently being investigated.
