Students of the Academy have mastered the skills of providing first aid.

      At the Bulgarian Islamic Academy, a practical class on providing first aid was held for master's students. The training focused on mastering action algorithms in emergency situations in accordance with health protection legislation. The instructor was Academy nurse Elena Maryukhova. During the theoretical part, the main types of injuries and emergencies that anyone might encounter in everyday life were discussed. The lecturer paid special attention to the action algorithms that need to be taken before the ambulance team arrives. The main part of the class was dedicated to practicing practical skills. Under the guidance of the specialist, the master's students learned how to properly stop bleeding, provide assistance in cases of fainting, thermal burns, and suspected fractures. The block dedicated to cardiopulmonary resuscitation generated the most interest among the listeners. Using a special training mannequin, the medical worker demonstrated the technique for performing indirect heart massage and artificial ventilation of the lungs. Each student was able to independently consolidate the knowledge gained in practice. The event was held in an interactive format: students not only received valuable knowledge but also had the opportunity to ask questions regarding the contents of a home first aid kit and the specifics of providing assistance in various climatic conditions.
