This is explained by veteran of the Special Military Operation (SMO) Marcel Giniyatullin in a conversation with NTR-24. The veteran went to the front as a volunteer in 2022, was wounded a year later, and six months after that he was discharged for health reasons. Upon returning home, he joined the "Union of SMO Veterans" and continued to help the front. Now his group is collecting nets. Marcel demonstrated the difference with an example. Here is a dugout, and above it, for example, is an ordinary green net. It immediately shows that there are fighters there — drones fly there. But this is not a camouflage net; it’s just a piece of material hanging. When a drone approaches, it does not immediately notice the obstacle and can get tangled, thereby saving the lives of the fighters, the SMO veteran explained. The collection is being carried out by veterans together with the "Kind Hearts" group. They accept both new and used nets. Handwoven nets can also be brought. By the way, camouflage fabrics are also needed, but there is an important point: it is better if they are woven by the volunteers themselves. Those ordered from marketplaces are easily recognized by drones due to the ready-made pattern and immediately head for the target.
