Tax officials denied rumors about the blocking of accounts of all individuals who did not submit their 3-NDFL on time.
Information about the blocking of accounts for all individuals who did not submit the 3-NDFL declaration on time after May 20 is not true. This was stated by the press service of the Federal Tax Service of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan. The agency explained that the suspension of operations for not submitting a declaration applies only to organizations, individual entrepreneurs, notaries, lawyers, and other persons engaged in private practice whose income is related to entrepreneurial activities. Bank account operations may be suspended if the aforementioned taxpayers do not submit their tax declaration within 20 days after the established deadline, tax officials reminded. At the same time, the Federal Tax Service of Russia notifies in advance about the upcoming blocking so that taxpayers have time to submit the necessary declaration, the press service added. Meanwhile, the declaration campaign for individuals continues for submitting the 3-NDFL declaration. The declaration for income received in 2025 should be submitted by April 30, 2026. The declaration must be submitted in the following cases: – movable and immovable property has been sold that was owned for less than the minimum ownership period; – expensive gifts have been received from non-close relatives; – a small amount has been won in the lottery; – property has been rented out; – income has been received from foreign sources. The tax calculated in the declaration must be paid by July 15, 2026.
