The number of entrepreneurs in Tatarstan in the "Honest Sign" has increased by 40%.

      In the Republic of Tatarstan, the number of SMEs connected to the "Honest Sign" system has increased by almost 40%. This growth is associated with the development of digital labeling and the strengthening of the fight against counterfeiting. By the end of 2025, the number of entrepreneurs in Tatarstan registered in the state labeling system Honest Sign reached about 5,800. This is 37.6% more compared to the same period last year. The most active participants in the system are representatives of small and medium-sized businesses operating in the fields of online trading, retail food sales, restaurant business and delivery, dental services, and clothing trade. These sectors are among the top five in terms of the number of registered participants. An important step in the development of the system was the opening of the "Honest Sign" Entrepreneur Support Center in Kazan. Here, businesses are provided with free consultations on registration, product labeling, implementation of electronic document management, and working with the National Goods Catalog. Special attention is paid to state support measures. Entrepreneurs are informed about the possibilities of subsidizing equipment and interest-free installments, which helps reduce the costs of implementing labeling. The project is being implemented with the support of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and the "My Business" center. The digital labeling system has already shown significant effects. During its operation, the share of illegal turnover of goods has decreased almost threefold — from 26% to 9%. In just 2025, more than 2.8 billion attempts to sell counterfeit products were prevented. The essence of the system lies in applying a unique DataMatrix code to each product. With the help of a mobile application, buyers can check the origin of the product, learn information about the manufacturer, composition, and expiration dates, as well as ensure its legality.

      Experts note that the growth in the number of participants in the system contributes to the "whitening" of the market, increasing consumer trust, and developing transparent business in the region.
