Users will be able to track the movement of the delivery robot on the map directly in the app, ensuring transparency and convenience of the service. Robots do not require breaks or rest, so delivery will operate steadily and around the clock. Delivery robots work in warehouses for assembling online orders from Yandex Lavka on Fatykh Amirhan, Marshal Chuykov streets, and in the vicinity of Shurtygin street. By the end of the year, Yandex plans to expand the number of warehouses with robotic delivery. Delivery robots will also start fulfilling orders for Food and Delivery. In Kazan, the latest fourth-generation robots will be in operation. These are the first robots that the company began to produce in series. Compared to previous versions, these delivery robots have higher cross-country capability. At the same time, they are simpler to manufacture and therefore cost less. By the end of 2027, Yandex will release 20,000 fourth-generation robots. The launch of mass production will allow for faster coverage of new cities and reduce the cost of robot delivery. It already costs the same as courier delivery and will decrease as the robots become more widespread. Robot delivery is also available in Innopolis, Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Murino (Leningrad region). The robots have traveled over 2 million km in these cities and completed over 1 million orders.
