About 3,200 people will be sent from Tatarstan for military service.

      Starting April 1, the spring campaign for military service recruitment has begun in Russia. It will last until July 15. As reported to Tatar-inform by the military commissioner of the Republic of Tatarstan, Yuri Belyaev, approximately 3,200 people are planned to be called up and sent from Tatarstan for military service from April to July. The operation of the conscription point of the Republic of Tatarstan is scheduled to begin on April 10, 2026. The term of military service by conscription will remain 12 months, as before. "I would like to note that the validity period of the decision of the conscription commission regarding the call-up of a citizen for military service has changed. Now it is valid for one year from the date of its adoption and throughout the territory of the Russian Federation. This means that if a citizen called up for military service is not sent for it during the current period for any reason, he will be sent for service in the next sending period. At the same time, if the citizen has grounds for deferring the call-up, the decision made is subject to cancellation," emphasized Yuri Belyaev. The timelines for sending citizens called up for military service to their places of service have not changed. They will be carried out, as before, twice a year: from April 1 to July 15, and from October 1 to December 31.
