      Landowners in Tatarstan can independently check their land for possible violations of legislation.

      Landowners in Tatarstan have been given the opportunity to conduct a self-assessment of their land plots for compliance with legal requirements. This can be done using the "Self-Assessment of Compliance with Mandatory Requirements" service, which is available on the official website of the Rosreestr. This was reported by the press service of the agency.

      How the service works

      The tool is available for both registered users of the portal and those who do not have an account on the site. To undergo the check, the landowner needs to enter the address or cadastral number of their land and then answer several questions. Among them are whether the plot is being used, whether it is intended for residential or other construction, and whether there are buildings or structures on it.

      The system outputs information on the presence or absence of violations, as well as provides recommendations for addressing identified issues. These recommendations are formed based on the data entered by the user.

      Moratorium on inspections and recommendations

      In Tatarstan, a moratorium on scheduled inspections of land plots involving landowners is in effect until 2030. However, as explained by the head of the state land supervision, geodesy, and cartography department, Almaz Nazmiev, if a request is received by the agency, specialists are obliged to verify its validity. Therefore, the Rosreestr strongly recommends that rights holders independently inspect their plots using the specified service and take measures to rectify any violations found.

      Statistics on supervisory activities

      Since the beginning of 2026, the Rosreestr of Tatarstan has conducted more than 1850 control and supervisory activities. As a result, over 2,000 warnings about the inadmissibility of violations of mandatory requirements of land legislation have been issued.
