      The Nizhnekamsk hockey club "Neftekhimik" has extended its agreement with head coach Igor Grishin until 2028. Under his leadership, the team successfully reached the playoffs of the Fonbet-KHL, despite an early exit from Omsk's "Avangard" with a score of 1:4. The club's general director Igor Larionov noted that the players showed character and gained invaluable experience, and the overall result of the season is assessed as positive. Grishin himself emphasized that he is satisfied with the cooperation with the management and the team, and expressed his readiness to continue working. In the new season, "Neftekhimik" plans targeted strengthening of the squad, including reviewing players from the youth team "Reactor" and possible cooperation with Izhevsk's "Izhstal" from the VHL.
