      May holidays shift the schedule — but an early surprise awaits not everyone

      For recipients of the "Mir" card: money is credited on the designated day. If the payment date falls on a weekend or holiday, the pension is transferred in advance. Specifically, on April 30, the money for May 3 will be credited to the cards. For those who receive their pension through "Post of Russia," the principle is the same: postal workers will deliver the pension earlier — on the previous working day. If your date is May 3, expect early delivery on April 30 or May 2. It is best to clarify the exact schedule at your branch.

      You can find out your payment date most easily through "Gosuslugi": the "Pensions" section — "Pension Accrual Status." If it indicates May 1, 2, or 3 — prepare for a pleasant surprise at the end of April. For those who are not familiar with the portal, there is a hotline for the Social Fund of Russia at 8 (800) 100-00-01 or a personal visit to the branch. Therefore, early pensions are not a myth, but a strictly regulated bonus for those lucky with the date. The rest will have to wait for May.
