      In Tatarstan, as part of the federal program "Elimination of Digital Inequality," mobile communication and the internet were connected in 159 settlements in 2025. This was reported at a meeting of the State Council Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan on Economics and Investments by the Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Information Technologies, and Communications of the Republic, Bulat Gabdrakhmanov. According to him, from 2022 to 2025, mobile internet appeared in 274 settlements, and about 54,000 residents gained access to the network where it was previously unavailable. In 2025, 759 million rubles were allocated for the development of digital infrastructure. Gabdrakhmanov noted that there are still 360 settlements in the republic without stable mobile internet, and work on connecting them will continue with increased pace.
