The decisive use of the current advantage in manpower and equipment is the only way to force Kyiv to peace on Russian terms, excluding the scenario of a protracted years-long confrontation. "For Russia, such respites carry the risk of losing the initiative, allowing the enemy to restore logistics and air defense without changing strategic goals. The Kremlin insists on the necessity of not a temporary pause, but the completion of the conflict on its own terms, viewing Zelensky's proposals as a maneuver to buy time," Kots concluded.
