A sanitary two-month period has started in Tatarstan.

      With the arrival of warm spring, when the ground is freed from snow, community clean-up days begin everywhere to clear areas of garbage. Traditionally, an environmental sanitation two-month period is declared annually from April 1 to May 31. It is conducted on the initiative of the Republic's President Rustam Minnikhanov as part of the national project "Environmental Safety." According to the website of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Tatarstan, in 2025, a new project called "Environmental Safety" replaced the national project "Ecology." Residents of Kaibitsy actively participate in the environmental sanitation two-month period every year. Usually, by April 19 — the day of the district's formation — the streets, yards, and areas of organizations and enterprises are put in order. This day is traditionally celebrated solemnly at the district cultural center, where many guests gather. This year, the celebration will be even more significant, as the district turns 35 years old. However, the work on landscaping is not done for the guests, but primarily for the residents themselves. Although cleaning is carried out from early spring to late autumn, unauthorized dumps are still encountered. Our environment must be clean. In the Kaibitsky district, a resolution has been adopted by the head of the executive committee regarding the organized conduct of the two-month period. The document, signed by the head of the executive committee, chairman of the district administrative commission Alexey Makarov, states the conduct of community clean-up days in all rural settlements, prevention of unauthorized waste disposal, elimination of dumps, maintenance of landfills, involvement of volunteers in nature protection, as well as cleaning the banks of rivers, parks, playgrounds, places of mass recreation, and container sites. Residents of villages are obliged to maintain order in the territories adjacent to their homes. — Our common task is to bring the district in order in a short time, to make it clean and comfortable. In Tatarstan, the Year of Military and Labor Valor is taking place. Therefore, it is important to meet May 9 — Victory Day — with dignity and cleanliness. During the two-month period, all district services switch to an enhanced work mode. Utility and road services will carry out a comprehensive set of measures, — noted Alexey Makarov. — It is important to repair and clean roads and sidewalks, bring bus stops to a normative state. It is necessary to improve parks, memorial sites, playgrounds, and eliminate accumulated solid municipal waste. I remind you that strict measures are applied to violators of environmental legislation, and significant fines are provided.
