      The acting chairman of the State Council of Tatarstan, Marat Akhmetov, has entered the media rating of heads of legislative bodies of the Federation subjects for the first time. This occurred in March 2026. He took the eighth position. Among the leaders of the parliaments of the Volga Federal District, Akhmetov ranked second. The rating was prepared by the company "Mediologia." The media index of the acting chairman of the State Council of Tatarstan amounted to 4761.2 points. The leader of the rating remained the chairman of the State Council of Crimea, Vladimir Konstantinov. The second place was taken by the speaker of the Moscow Regional Duma, Igor Bryntsalov, who rose one position. The third place went to the chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Sverdlovsk region, Lyudmila Babushkina, who climbed three spots. The only parliamentary leader from the Volga Federal District who surpassed Akhmetov was the chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Yevgeny Lyulin, who took sixth place. The top ten also included the heads of legislative bodies from St. Petersburg, Krasnodar Krai, Astrakhan region, Dagestan, and Moscow: Alexander Belsky, Yuri Burlachko, Igor Martynov, Zaur Askenderov, and Alexey Shaposhnikov.
