More than 35,000 young entrepreneurs are registered in Tatarstan.

      Every third individual entrepreneur in the republic is no older than thirty-five years. In terms of the number of young businessmen, Tatarstan ranks fifth in Russia, trailing only Moscow, the Moscow region, the Krasnodar Territory, and St. Petersburg.

      The youth of Tatarstan are increasingly choosing entrepreneurship. According to the Ministry of Economy of the republic, as of today, more than 35,500 residents aged up to thirty-five are engaged in their own businesses in the region. This is an impressive figure, accounting for almost a third of the total number of individual entrepreneurs in Tatarstan. And this is not just statistics, but a real indicator that young people are ready to take risks, create their own businesses, and work towards results. In terms of the number of young individual entrepreneurs, Tatarstan ranks fifth among all regions of Russia. Only Moscow, with 112,000 young businessmen, is ahead. Next is the Moscow region with 89,000, followed by the Krasnodar Territory with 61,000 and St. Petersburg with 54,000. This means that the republic confidently enters the top five leaders, surpassing many other large regions. This indicates that good conditions for starting and conducting business have been created in Tatarstan.

      What sectors do young entrepreneurs choose? They most often work in three areas. Traditionally, trade is in first place, with 12,600 young businessmen engaged in it. In second place is cargo transportation, where 10,700 people work. Rounding out the top three is scientific and technical activity, chosen by about 3,000 individual entrepreneurs. Interestingly, young people are increasingly moving away from simple resale of goods to more complex and high-tech sectors. This is a good sign for the republic's economy.

      As of March this year, there are about 189,000 small and medium-sized enterprises operating in Tatarstan. Of these, approximately 121,500 are individual entrepreneurs. This means that small businesses in the republic feel confident and continue to grow.

      The Ministry of Economy of Tatarstan reminded that the department, along with its subordinate organizations, provides comprehensive support to small and medium-sized businesses. These are not just words, but real tools that help entrepreneurs. Among them are preferential micro-loan financing, where one can obtain funds for development at a low interest rate. Preferential leasing, which allows for the purchase of equipment or transport without huge one-time costs. And the provision of guarantees, which is especially important for those who do not yet have sufficient collateral.

      But assistance is not limited to money. Entrepreneurs have access to a whole range of non-financial services that cover the entire business development cycle. From project launch to entering foreign markets. What exactly is included in this package? It includes the opportunity to participate in regional and international exhibitions and fairs, where one can find partners and customers. It includes assistance in product certification and promotion. It includes staff training. It includes support in entering marketplaces, which is particularly relevant today. And of course, educational and consulting support, including adaptation to constantly changing tax changes. All of this helps young entrepreneurs not just survive, but grow successfully.
