      More than 35,500 residents of Tatarstan aged under 35 are engaged in entrepreneurial activities — this is almost a third of all individual entrepreneurs (IE) in the region. In terms of the number of young IEs, the republic ranks fifth among the subjects of the Russian Federation. This was reported by "Tatar-inform."       Moscow — 112,000;

      Moscow Region — 89,000;

      Krasnodar Krai — 61,000;

      Saint Petersburg — 54,000.

      freight transportation — 10,700 IEs;

      scientific and technical activities — about 3,000 IEs.

      In total, as of March this year, there are about 189,000 small and medium-sized enterprises operating in Tatarstan, including approximately 121,500 individual entrepreneurs.

      Experts note that a favorable environment for the development of youth entrepreneurship has been formed in Tatarstan. Key success factors include:

      a developed mentoring system;

      business support infrastructure (industrial parks, special economic zones);

      educational and acceleration programs;

      business forums and specialized events for experience exchange;

      financial support programs (federal grants, republican programs, preferential micro-loan financing, leasing, guarantees);

      non-financial services — assistance at all stages of business development, from launch to entering foreign markets.

      The success of the republic's approach to supporting youth entrepreneurship has been confirmed at the federal level: in August of last year, at the All-Russian Entrepreneurship Forum in Arkhyz, Tatarstan's practices were recognized as the best in Russia.
